It seems fitting that Cara’s blood type is B+. She brings a positive approach to every project and personally oversees each account. Cara is a creative business person who leverages her business insights, imagination, breadth of knowledge and work-hard ethic to develop integrated communications programs that help her clients succeed.

After earning an AB from Vassar College, Cara worked in New York City for Salomon Brothers (where she earned her Series 7 and 63 licenses). From there, she became the Director of Investor Relations for Presidio Oil Company, a publically traded company. Cara earned her MBA from Babson College in 1993, with a concentration in International Marketing. Upon graduation, Cara worked as the Advertising Manager at State Street Bank & Trust Company where she was responsible for all global advertising and market research with an annual budget of $3 million.
Cara founded Communications, Ink in 1996 with a mission to offer her clients access to a full range affordable, actionable marketing services. Since then, she has worked with a diverse variety of organizations (from startups to Fortune 100s) helping them create marketing materials that deliver positive results. Her attention to detail and commitment to a successful outcome make her an invaluable marketing partner.
If Cara were able to figure out how to cheat the laws of time, she’d like to spend more time with her family and learn to make sushi.
Anne is passionate about creating unique visual solutions that capture the essence and services provided by a company. Creativity has been a common thread throughout her life. This thread has intertwined through her love of art and drawing as a child to studying art and art history in college to using her natural and trained creative abilities to design effective communications.
She is a key creative player in building brands and developing identities for over 20 years. Translating strategy and marketing objectives into a creative vision seamlessly across digital and printed channels, while maintaining a consistent look and message is a challenge she truly loves. Keeping a pulse on market trends, Anne likes to find inspiration for creative ideas through research online and in the marketplace.
